Earlier in 2025, my youngest sister Hanna and I managed to snag pit passes for a Warren Zeiders concert in Sterling Heights, MI on May 16 for a reasonable price. Let me just say, this night was AMAZING!!! 🤩 I would say Warren is a mix of country and rock music that has been really popular lately, so make sure you keep an eye out for this guy.
Let me set the mood: It was the weekend after my other sisters bachelorette party (that will be another post someday, because that was also a great weekend!) and 8 days after my second car accident in 2025 (which will also be another post because 😫), so its safe to say I needed a little break from life. It was the hottest day of the year so far, 90 degrees if I remember correctly, but we didn’t let that stop us from dressing to impress (Hanna did a much better job than me). We had this planned for months, and driving there and back was giving me anxiety (especially given my driving record the previous 2 months), but I definitely wasn’t about to let that stop us. Hanna had driven 2 hours to my house and I, driving my boyfriends mom’s vehicle, drove us to the concert. I had taken a half day off of work, which worked out since it ended up taking us 2 hours to get there, instead of the 1 hour GPS told me it would be on a normal day. When we got there, we actually were able to get a decent parking spot and got into the venue relatively quick. Once we were in, we decided to get into the merch line first thing. *One thing about me, I’m always gonna get the t-shirt*. After we had gotten our Zaddy shirts, we got drinks and dinner, which actually wasn’t bad. Since it was both of our first time having pit passes, we were a little lost about where to go, and the staff at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre were so nice and helpful. When we found our spots, as close to the stage as we could, behind the people that wait aaallllll day to get the best spots, we waited and socialized with some of the people around us. They came around selling drinks, but Hanna and I took turns going to the restroom and getting drinks all night.
Tyler Braden opened for Warren, which honestly was a big reason I wanted to spring for pit passes. I’ll be honest, I didn’t know a ton of his music, but all that I did know, I loved. I may also have a small-ish crush on him, but that’s irrelevent. It was the day his new album dropped, which I didn’t realize because my life was such a mess. Now that I think about it, I don’t think Hanna and I listened to any music the whole way there since my phone didn’t connect to the Bluetooth in the car 😅 I heard God & Guns-N-Roses live before I heard it any other way and now its my favorite song! Fun fact: during the previously mentioned bachelorette party, my other sister Nikki and I got tickets to see Tyler Braden at a small venue closer to home (which happens to be TOMORROW!!)! Someone behind us was nice enough to take a picture of Hanna and I with Tyler in the background.
When Warren Zeiders finally came on, everyone went crazy! We really were very close to the stage and struggled to keep people from pushing their way in front of us, but with the help of our new friends, we were able to keep them at bay. Now, I’m not sure if its because we were so close, but I have never been to a concert where the person performing was as happy and excited to be there as Warren was through the entire set! It was almost an hour and a half, and he had such amazing energy and a great smile the WHOLE time! He played You for a Reason, Intoxicated, Heartbreaker, and of course other songs from his Relapse album. Then, Warren and Tyler did a duet cover of Brand New Man that was so fun! Shortly after that, Warren went behind the stage for a few moments, and when he came back 👀🔥🤤 He played the last few songs shirtless, and let me just say, this man is SHREDDED!!
When we got back to the car, getting out of the venue was crazy, with lots of traffic that almost sent my anxiety over the edge, even more so since we weren’t in a vehicle I owned. But after about 45 minutes, we made it out of the parking lot and thankfully the rest of the ride home was uneventful. It was after midnight when we made it back to my house and we both crashed on the couch with my dogs. We had an incredible night, and it has been living rent-free in my head ever since. Its safe to say that I will continue to check the prices on all pit passes for future concerts 🎤
